Weltliche Feiertage : Prophet Mohammad's daughter and one of the most inspiring figures for Shiite Muslims. Fatima died in the holy city of Medina in current Saudi Arabia. Shiites believe that she died while trying to protect her husband Imam Ali from his enemies. That's why they regard her as a martyr. The exact place of her burial still remains a mystery after more than 14 centuries.

Despite British pressure, including an economic blockade which caused real hardship, the nationalization continued.
